Sally Bateson
Founder and Director
Sally is a fundraising and marketing specialist who has spent the last 20 years working with with a wide range of charities to strengthen and grow their income.
She spent eight years as a Managing Consultant at Compton Fundraising Consultants where she worked with with clients to review and develop their fundraising strategies and worked on several large fundraising campaigns.
Previous to her consulting career Sally was Director of Fundraising and Marketing for the Duchess of York’s charity, Children in Crisis. She has also worked at Age UK, Whizz-Kidz and Red Bull UK.
Sally specialises in providing fundraising reviews, interim team management and leading successful fundraising campaigns.

Dan Sprawson
Dan is a digital engagement and marketing expert. He has over 20 years' experience working with charities including the Zoological Society London and Age UK.
Dan carries out website and digital marketing reviews, providing both technical and creative solutions.
Dan is also a photographer and graphic designer.
Fran Ward
Fran has over 15 years’ fundraising experience and is highly skilled at building and motivating teams and putting practical plans into action. Fran spent nine years at Compton Fundraising Consultants where she led teams, managed campaigns and delivered star-studded gala dinners.
Fran trains teams, manages events and sets up community and corporate fundraising programmes.
Anna Clyne
Anna is a skilled researcher and fundraiser with 13 years' experience in the sector, including Service Development Manager at Burntwood Citizens Advice Bureau and Acting Chief Executive at Citizens Advice East Staffordshire. She is passionate about helping those at the furthest margins of society.
Anna conducts research, coordinates project information and writes funding bids.
Trudy Lister
Trudy is an award-winning PR, and marketing expert, with over 30 years' experience. Her ability to create an opportunity that generates income is her ultimate skill. Her creative and strategic thinking, desire to deliver and “where there's a will there's a way” attitude always serve her well!
Trudy conducts PR and marketing reviews and develops practical strategies. She also provides a hands-on PR and social media service to support fundraising campaigns.
